Released as a delightful series of free downloads comes ‘Night Beats’ from UNDERCOVER, two deep house artists originally from Brooklyn. It’s their second complete album to date, and this one provides plenty of grooves and vibes – from start to finish.
The pair’s approach to their tunes comes in two parts, with Joe Thompson taking on the role of singer/songwriter and Greg Scarnici handling the technicalities of production.
This is a set up that clearly works well, as each track is wonderfully formed.
From the warm sounds of ‘Find Some Lovin’ to the expressive ‘Work On Love’, the catchy melodies and snappy beats provided throughout will delight listeners.
