Paradiso Artist Spotlight: Slander with a Fresh Brew of Trap Music

It is time to start planning your trip to Paradiso this June 23rd-24th at the awe-inspiring Gorge in Washington. One of the first things you should do to prepare is dive deep into the lineup. Let’s start with checking out some recent music by L.A.’s own Slander, who are apart of the OWSLA and Mad Decent families.

One of my most loved things about trap duo, Slander, is that they know how to switch it up. After already coming out with singles like ‘After All’ and ‘Love Again’, which explore bass trap and their signature heaven trap, they stunned their fans with another unique recent release, ‘Drop It’.

Slander relentlessly throws down and their new style of blending bass and trap music is exactly why we are heading to Paradiso.

To create this refreshing sound in ‘Drop It’ they team up with Basstrick. The track is not at all like anything Slander has put out recently. The highlight of the track is the sheer greatness of the bass blended with the inconspicuous intense house beat.

‘Drop it’ brings us overwhelming bass with a profound house beat and crawling impacts of trap music and dubstep.

In the event that you haven’t heard any Basstrick tracks, he leans toward dubstep and house, with a way of making every one of his singles addicting. You can hear Basstrick’s style during the intense drop in the track, as it switches from trap to bass house.

Listen to Slander & Basstrick’s newest release, ‘Drop It’ below:

Also, listen to Slander‘s radio show Gud Vibrations that they host with Nghtmre on a weekly basis. This episode features tracks from San HoloFlume, Knife Party and Yookie.

Finally, listen to a piece of their heaven trap that will beautifully stand out at Paradiso 2017.

In the wake of tuning into this, you are most likely beginning to anticipate Slander‘s set at Paradiso and all around this summer. Check out the rest of their tour dates. We look forward to meeting some of you at Paradiso- The United State of Consciousness. Purchase your passes by clicking here. Beware of FOMO, it is already 80% sold out.
