Northern Nights Music Festival wrapped up in the hills of Northern California just over two weeks ago and those who were fortunate enough to partake in the migration to Cook’s Valley Campground are still dreaming of that magical weekend spent dancing carelessly among the Redwoods. The best in alternative, electronic, glitchy goodness was showcased over three days on the border of Humboldt and Mendocino counties with artists such as Beats Antique, Odesza, Mr. Carmack and many more taking the intricately designed stages and pumping dirty beats throughout the forest.

From the North Coast Journal, Northern Nights is truly an exercise in organic dance music.

Our hope: Creating a premiere destination festival that allows attendees to embrace a truly Californian experience. Lighting, sound, and stage production for all stages are provided by San Francisco Bay Area’s finest production teams in collaboration with renowned Humboldt County promoters and producers. Paying it forward: Aligning with the traditions of previous festivals, a portion of the proceeds from ticket and beverage sales are donated to the Mendocino and Humboldt school districts, non-profits, and environmental groups.

If this video is indication, Northern Nights is truly succeeding in accomplishing their goals by providing attendees with a one-of-a-kind transformational experience.
