With a dusty and organic sound, staccato piano melodies work their way into the accompaniment as steel drum-type sounds float their way across the eardrums. Fluttering jazz woodwinds make their way to the forefront and everything conjoins to form a quirky groove that immediately entrances the mind.
It’s jazzy downtempo hip hop at its finest.
Light synths pitter-patter in the background as the repeated lyric, “I need you, I want you, come over here”, sails through the mix to add a poignant touch to the already deeply moving downtempo track.
