The team behind Moonrise Festival has been adding to the hype surrounding the event’s 2017 installment over the last few months, opting to stagger lineup releases to keep fans on their heels. While many of us probably thought the lineup couldn’t possibly get any better, with artists like Afrojack, Porter Robinson, and Zomboy already booked, the festival announced a very epic final lineup release.
Derek Vincent Smith, better known as superstar producer Pretty Lights, joins an already stacked roster, making Moonrise 2017 one of the “cannot miss” events set to take place in August.
Smith is known for his epic light shows, awesome stage presence and unique artistry, making him the perfect addition to the MR lineup. Along with him will be his live band consisting of some of the filthiest musicians in the scene that really make Pretty Lights sound deeper and the improvisations are glorious.
You will witness his fearless band members Borahm Lee on the keys, Alvin Ford, Jr. on the kit, Chris Karns spinning, and Brandon Butler on the keys.
