Deep house/nu disco duo Vijay & Sofia took on Craaze’s mashup of Italian pianist Ludovico Einaudi and American rock band Kings Of Leon and made it into something that’s entirely their own.

Craaze’s remix transposes Caleb Followill’s impassioned and emotive lyrics over Einaudi’s classically trained piano rolls. For Vijay & Sofia Zlatko’s edit, they take things a step further by adding smooth instrumentation to take it into the deep house realm.

Adding steady percussion and thumping-yet-subdued bass line, Vijay & Sofia create a comfortable space for Craaze’s mashup to lay its head.

In a track that’s as poignant and expressive as Kings of Leon’s original, Vijay & Sofia leave plenty sonic space to let Followill’s intense vocal delivery to shine. Without cluttering the track with unnecessary add-ons, Vijay & Sofia created a chill house masterpiece that’s sure to bring the chill vibe out on any dance floor.
