Every year the race is on as soon as Michigan’s Electric Forest releases their tickets for sale. However this year saw general admission passes sell out in record time. Insomniac Events has a history of selling out Electric Daisy Carnival Las Vegas without even announcing a lineup, but this is a first for its’ Midwest counterpart.
Anyone member of the rave family will tell you that there are few places quite as magical as Electric Forest, but the cancellation of Wakarusa – which typically happens during the same time – surely had an influence on tickets being rapidly scooped up.
Electric Forest returns to the Double JJ Resort in Rothbury, Michigan from Thursday, June 23 through Sunday, June 26, 2016.
