It began with a request from his mother to get a job at the young age of 13. In response, DJ 4B chose to take the path of DJing uninformed of where it would lead him to.
A little over a decade later, 24-year-old producer is recognized for his Jersey club vibe and emerges in the electronic dance music scene.
Since 4Bs‘ first single release of ‘Bomboclat,’ which premiered on Diplo & Friends mix, he has caught many peoples eyes and ears. Earning himself time slots at many of your most amicable festivals nationwide, he also has captured many artists attention. He has taken the same stage with very acclaimed individuals like Diplo, Kayzo, and Steve Aoki. He has also received support from the likes of Tiesto, Dj Snake, Carnage, and Flosstradamus.
Recently, 4B played at Hard Summer overflowing the tent, and his set was an outbreak filled with energy.
On August 8th, he proposed on Twitter if he got a certain amount of re-tweets, he would release his entire live set from Hard Summer, and without question he did, including a free download. As you listen, you will hear all types of tracks which he remixes into his own. There is such a large variety of producers including many favorites like Excision, Nghtmre, Slander, and Dillon Francis.
4B has a talent for blending in jersey club into mostly trap, dubstep and at times, non-electronic dance singles.
Jersey Club is considered to be booty popping music, a repetitive pattern that creates a ‘bouncy’ groove. A kind of music, which is a clear definition, for us to be on the dance floor.
You will be dancing uncontrollably when he throws that effect into songs like ‘Reload’ by Sebastian Ingrosso & Tommy Trash, and ‘Utopia’ by Dombresky in his set. Besides having everyone wanting to twerk to some of his tracks, he is very good at encouraging mosh-pits with dropping songs by Zomboy and Flosstradamus.
It’s apparent, 4B knows what he is doing when on stage, for his energy, and vibe always has the crowd chanting for more. He recently affirmed 2018 is going to be a really big year. With how quickly the young producer has risen the past couple of years, we can sure anticipate that whatever comes next, will be huge.
